DescriptionsA Poem by Abdul Aziz
I will describe not your eyes
And the sliver of shyness that dances Between the poetry of your brows. I will describe not your face And the million dreams it hides Within the edges of that beautiful smile. I will describe not your warmth And the trappings of the hearth You bring to my winter days. I will describe not your heart And the pulse of my world That runs through its sacred chambers. For I will never be able To capture the poetry of your beauty In words from my frail pen. © 2011 Abdul AzizAuthor's Note
