Sing me a songA Poem by Abdul AzizSing me a song
Sing me a song from the blood of your heart; A song that decays not; that nor grows apart. Sing me a song now, before I depart. Sing me a song from the depths of our love; A song that's as pure as the wings of a dove. Sing me a song I can recall above. Sing me a song from the truth of your tears; A song that erases all doubts and all fears; Sing me a song, love, till I disappear. Sing me a song from your quivering bones; A song that is sung in a heavenly tone. Sing me a song I can take up alone. Sing me a song from the light of your eyes; A song that enlightens all tearful goodbyes. Sing me a song I can sing as I die. © 2010 Abdul AzizAuthor's Note
