Never Can Such As You Be BornA Poem by Abdul AzizDedicated to a special friend.Never Can Such As You Be Born January spent in a
somnolent cloak Under the wings of
abandoned dreams. Vaudeville-watching on the
banks of time, Embers of joy quenched by
apathetic streams. Raconteurs recalled
borrowed stories, Iridescent rumors that
stabbed my heart As abeyance grabbed
December's memories. Until... You
passed me by like a floating song, Amber
eyes, not a bit forlorn, Stealing
my reverie all day long, Ending
the darkness, ushering dawn. Eclogue,
valkyrie, ebullient song, Never
can such as you again be born. © 2010 Abdul AzizFeatured Review
