It rains from the ground

It rains from the ground

A Poem by Abdul Aziz
"

Abstract! Nonsensical, I suppose?

"
In the city of dreams
It rains from the ground
Things once lost,
Things now found.

Forgotten heroes,
Delirious trees
With fuming faces
Screaming peace.

Wisps of cotton
Stroking wasps;
Winds of haze -
Stuttering gasps.

'Love ethereal;
Love forlorn'
Blares away
The hermit's song.

This is a superbly lovely poem. It is discreetly reflective in a way that makes me wonder if you’ve personally visited such a city. An exquisite write for sure, wonderful job!

This one carried me to that land. Lovely.
I think writing such verses is very difficult because expressing what is within you in a succinct way is very difficult and requires a talented, clear mind. That, no doubt, you have. :)

P.S - Writes like this one make me envy you. :D

Great imagery, I can almost vividly picture this city of dreams.
"It rains from the ground." Very brilliant line; the first figurative meaning that came to mind was a verdant land abundant in fruits and greenery.
'Love ethereal;
Love forlorn'
Blares away
The hermit's song.
There's something wistful about this line; it makes the entire poem feel mysterious. Great poem!

Nice. It sorta creates a picture inside your head of the place you describe. Nice imagery.
