The Sun Will Rise Again

The Sun Will Rise Again

A Poem by Abdul Aziz

While standing on the shores of dusk
Past's lilting breeze brushes me.
Insouciant waves of night tug
At the sands of eve nonchalantly.

Looking far at the golden horizon,
The ocean of life meets the setting sun.
I get a whiff of piquant curiosity
It wafts joyously from the sea, undone.

If death is what lies at the horizon
Why does the sun smile merrily?
I shed my cloak of worries and
Take a plunge in the ocean of reality.

While life may toss me up and down,
Tempests too may come and go,
And the horizon too I might not reach,
The sun will rise - and this I know.

these two stanza s are great
If death is what lies at the horizon
Why does the sun smile merrily?
I shed my cloak of worries and
Take a plunge in the ocean of reality.

While life may toss me up and down,
Tempests too may come and go,
And the horizon too I might not reach,
The sun will rise - and this I know.
