I have a very harsh and critical eye when it comes to poems of love... but this poem ranks as the best positive appraisal of that much-vaunted emotion that I have read in a while... probably ever here on this site. And it is a man, ironically, who manages to achieve that esoteric claim.
This is truly a very beautiful testament to the subject and is conceived with intelligence and a high skill for finding the right words and rhyme.
"Turquoise dreams, cerulean themes-
The sky runs out of praise.
It bursts at seams or so it seems -
You've set it all ablaze. "
..This verse is outstanding poetry, the sort of standard that should be set in this kind of genre. I only wish I could advertise that fact more widely than I am able to. The message: THIS is how to write a love poem.
I have reviewed this before I think, on orkut. And I was blown away by it completely at that time. And frankly, nothing has changed since then.
"Turquoise dreams, cerulean themes-
The sky runs out of praise. "
I have said this there and I will say it here...Nobody, not even Wordsworth ever thought of calling the sky "turquoise dreams"
And yet again, I'll repeat my words...If the sky runs out of praise, I have something in common with the sky.
This is without a shadow of a doubt, my personal favourite from your treasure of exceptional verse....
Absolutely wonderful. Certainly you have raised the bar for how a love poem ought to be written and I hope that many we take a look, if not rise to the challenge. Excellent imagery, especially in this stanza:
Turquoise dreams, cerulean themes-
The sky runs out of praise.
It bursts at seams or so it seems -
You've set it all ablaze.
The sky is infinite, yet she has managed to fill it and set it on fire. Wonderful!

I always look for messages and/or imagery in poetry. When it comes to a love poem, I look for both. This piece gave me something extra along with the mentioned both , Two minutes of sheer joy of getting a ride in nature and too many lines to read again and again.I should say I am very lucky that I started reading your poems starting with this one
Its being AGES since I have come across a good love poem and yours is absolutely top-notch ! Never going overboard with the display of emotions, I love the choice of words in the poem.
First of all, from reading this poem you chose the PERFECT alias. I applaud your work, and I might have a little crush as well, because it's rare to find a guy who can string such eloquent words together to express the magic of the love that he feels.
And since we all know what a standing ovation implies, I won't spoil the moment with any more words.
