Jasmine in SummerA Poem by Abdul Aziz
In my dreams I'm falling endlessly
While the carousel spins on and on; I'm seeing her where I've seen her before But she moves on and smiles endlessly. In my dreams she walks endlessly, And fades off like an apparition, Vanishing into the darkness of day, While her scent of jasmine lingers on endlessly. In my dreams I'm crying endlessly, While I die a little every day; She smiles on and disappears; I'm left clutching at my tears endlessly. © 2014 Abdul AzizReviews
