Music

Music can also be deep

Poems

How do we know
Between what is real and stray
"I just want to be in love"
For they say that so sudden
Little do they know
Love has little meaning to most
In a generation so cold and despair
Our minds captivate on who's pretty
By a selfies number of likes
Where is the romance?
If you're broken
Not a soul is sounded to rescue
You're forced to lay here
As the pain courses through your body
Where do I turn now
Left? Right
There's no way to escape what is real
It's reality you see
Music explains it better
Lyrics seem to tell a better story

We expect others to save us, and that failing, we turn to someone else's pain to find triumph.
My only comment is technical - you need an apostrophe on selfies.
Otherwise, absolutely perfect.
