I Know you'll Never See ThisA Poem by Abby L.::I wish I could rap, if I could, I would rap this::Should I try to entertain you? Yeah, if ask me again, I love you, But really when you ignore me for awhile, I question your three word sentence. You hold my hand and laugh Making jokes while walking When I know you won’t tell me half I’ve known you’re blocking Hiding your messed up past Stop trying Stop fighting Your smile is lying Your truth is blighting I don’t understand the meaning of ‘I love you’ If I and you never talk it through. You know I’d love to tell you this is person, But baby, I’m scared you’ll cause a diversion From the fact of life that you’ve shun So how can I tell you when I know you’ll run? And here I am writing small rhymes, on a small site, And maybe one day you’ll wander on and see, so we’ll end the fight And maybe you’re internal battle will be through But by then, I know there’ll be nothing left to do © 2015 Abby L.Author's Note
