No Answers I Get

A Poem by Abby L.
"

::"Goodbye... I know the mature thing to do is to tell you you'll be missed, and then get used to having you gone." -Wallpapers.com::

"

Will I be missed?
When I can’t make it to your party,

My dear friends I know and love,

When I still wear my heart on the glove?

Will I be missed?

When Dad is mad

And Mom is sad

When all I’d do is insist?

Will I be missed?

When my boyfriend’s not alone,

He’s with other people at home

When he hasn’t been kissed?

Will I be missed?
When I walk down the aisle,

My face in a smile

When I promise my life to my own?

Will I be missed?

When my children run free,

Cherished and glee

When they hop around in a twist?

Will I be missed?

When I grow old

All my tales been told

When I’ve lost my love and bliss?

Am I missed yet?

Did you love me?
Did you want me?

Only no answers I get.

Author's Note

Abby L.
Okie, kind of weird, I wrote this when I had extra time in one of my classes and I was just brainstorming. I neated it up a little, but tried not to take away from the originality. Secret of my work : I write how, and when I feel like it. So now, while I'm revising I feel different from when I wrote it, therefore I don't want to change too much.
Anyway! Thank you so much for reading! Have a wonderful, fun-filled, majestic, amazing, beautiful day!
