That Sensation to ComeA Story by Abby L.Ok it's like a poem, but not...My head is spinning; Feet off the ground I’m flying Through the air only into nothingness Just black Lilac was the only scent I could make out The strong smell drew me in as I spun around in the dark Like a beat, the smell consumed me and I danced I cannot compare this feeling to anything Sweat began to fall and the smell grew thicker My breath was fast and shallow My eyes are shut I leapt again, into the air, that feeling reoccured Only it was wrong I was wrong The sensation of fear took over The lilac disappeared I was falling deeper and deeper into nothing Just nothing I braced myself for the landing Like a bird jumping out of a nest It never came I opened my eyes to find myself in my room, lights off With a lilac candle burning in the corner I found my ballet shoes strapped on my feet My desk was moved and I was sitting in the middle of the floor I closed my eyes once again and awaited that sensation to come © 2015 Abby L.Author's Note
