SleepA Poem by Pressed and PrimFalling in to Sleep
The wind is cool
As my eyes beg to be covered. I dread the sleep that may envelope. As sweet as I would like it To be endless And for me to not wake, Life is still sweeter. I think of an embrace, But sleep instead embraces me And I fall not as I would For a romance or a lover, But into oblivion That cares not of me Nor of my dependence On a good night’s sleep. © 2013 Pressed and PrimAuthor's Note
