Lover's Solstice

Lover's Solstice

A Poem by Pressed and Prim
"

For Valentine's Day

"

Hearts convene under a crescent moon
While pained whispers are rushed and hushed.

You touch my palm with your finger,
Caressing briefly and slowly.
I shiver and look back at you.

Your face is partly illuminated by
Artificial light
The rest covered in shadow like a tattoo.

Your gaze buries deep
And I do not refuse.
In those seconds we are one.
