There's A Full Moon TonightA Poem by Pressed and PrimProse poetry for LunaThere’s a full moon tonight It shines up there Unobstructed, Unopposed. As I gaze up It makes me wonder How many are staring at this Giant orb That looks so small Yet rules the sky During the dark night. I smiled When I realized Why it wasn't so dark; What was that light? Happily, It turned out to be The full moon. Perhaps, I’d like to think As I smiled at the comforting maiden That she was smiling back For in times of fake light So little really smile Back up at her Even though her glow Outshines them all. © 2013 Pressed and PrimAuthor's Note
