SilenceA Poem by abbybroncos
Silence comes in whispers
You can hear the silent pleas, The arguments whisk by you Carried briskly by the breeze. It's all coming to an end now You can see the finish line, You can't turn back now, You need to follow every sign. You can feel that it is over, You can see it in their eyes, Heart heavy with the sulfur the apologies and lies. Not sure where to go now, Since the end is coming to an end, letting the memories slip away, trying to find a friend. But you've lost them all untimely, from trying to be good, you never realized though how dense it was, if you could take it back you would, Searching for the answers, But none will come to me, because silence is the only thing I will ever come to see.
