The Never-Ending Symphony

The Never-Ending Symphony

A Poem by Brad Bramble

The rumbling of the chords

deep within our souls

drives the stories of our lives,

of following our goals

The music that we never hear,

the most beautiful of all,

is the never-ending symphony

by which we are enthralled.

Every tone's an action

our endeavors, bows that glide

every strain's an effort

to achieve what we desire

Fear not the cymbal’s crashing

that will bring the end of you,

for legacies do not die,

within our human fugue.

No melody's forgotten

every one is carried on

so play each note with caution

for they still ring when you are gone.
