Freyda 'neath the Rock

Freyda 'neath the Rock

A Poem by Brad Bramble

Rest in peace, sweet sister

you did not die in vain

for when the Empire falls

I will shout your name.

“Freyda! Freyda, ‘neath the rock!

She fought so bloody well!”

But she lost the fight in icy snows,

where death oft seems to dwell.
