in the night... tucked under the blankets of fate as the winds blow... into the hours of late... memories are passing by, silence... my dearest friend the pale faces never wash away and the nightmares never end
for when days are getting old... and autumn sings its song... the very pages of pain unfold... from when it started so long...
i saw you love, i saw you cry from up above, i wondered why...
but tonight; i linger the corners of my bed there are no stories to tell.. no more tears to shed... u speak of agony; and the walls lend ears... only to bestow me with anger... exposed before my fears!
close your eyes and drift in me... drown in silence and in my seas... let the winds carry you away... listen carefully to the whispers... and cherish every breeze... for when the time should come... it should bring you ease!
Another pleasurable read. I absolutly love the flow to this poem and the nursery poem esq way that it read (at least to me) this could either be taken romanticly as an exchange between lovers or as a walk in faith with whoever your higher being (if you have one) might be. I don;t normally like elipses on the ends a poems lines but here it seemed to work well with the trailing thought of the narrator and the approhensiveness he/she might feel about the mixture of emotions they have. Thanks for the read!!!
I'm not sure if anyone truly caught the depth of this poem. As you became lost in memories of this person and the feelings it made you feel, down to the last stanza which spoke of release and peace. Or maybe i misinterpreted. but to each their own perception thats the beauty of poetry. Very creatively expressed. well done poet.
This one is so beautiful! Bittersweet and romantic - what a dream! These words, whom ever they are for, should make this person feel so loved and so protected. You left me teary eyed with this one. I am liking this side I am seeing in you lately. Your words are making me happy.
a sea surrouded by an anxiety of darkness and the light holds clever in your woerds, a muse to wonder and the night, this is an amazing piece.
a short styled sonnet in tone, a real pleasure to read.
