Songs Of Mirth

Songs Of Mirth

A Poem by A.r. Bazian

like these very same moments...
within the widowed laughters that i cast...
a break of habit does appear...
when the sails port at last

the cry of despair, comes mute and aware
hollow as the soundings of night...
like the echoes of dawn, awaited so long
come the tears soothing and bright

for as winter comes along, i sing this song...

ask the moments do they pass...
but the memories do linger a some!

give me birth, set me free...
nothing left to bare my hope...
nothing here to comfort me...
my mind to me is a kingdom still...
where the break of hearts
breaks none of will!

sitting there, with my hands in space...
i wonder at this steadily patterns,
that is scaring my face...
the rising of meadows bring forth no light...
in these times of dark, and most lonesome fright

i remember!
when the river grew wider,
and the words; they lost their force...
the letters of both passion and love...
and those of my remorse...
peacefully i rest, at the last words i send...
the waters are still now;
silence becomes my friend...

belate the passions of yesternight...
for tomorrow, will come of sorrow,
that will forever irk his night !
