Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.7: The CallingA Poem by A.r. Bazian[Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.7: The Calling] ... i hear a tune... as sunlight goes passing by... and silence becomes my friend i've seen the world... under a different sky... i've seen the seasons of love... as they went by... like corpses of fallen angels... here... love shall lie! fallen monuments... of a golden era... such broken era! witnessed the rise... and fall... the fury of the Sahara... oh... i've witnessed all... but never have i drowned in silence... such eyes... deadly... as beauty in disguise... ... he looked at me... or had she? and exiled me to silence! a well so deep... it has been time... long no more to weep... that is my crime... ... then... she turned away... or had he? what is he? who is she? "dont you ever look back at this..." said he... whispered she... why? for never have i ever been... so vividly.... dead! and why? for never were my dreams in red! i witnessed lust... and witnessed fury on this bed... "the price u have to pay..." she said... the price for my greed... my lust... my hunger! such sins... are of a morbid soul... i've sinned... how come? sentenced to be-headed... for being... partially human? ... i have given him my soul... given her my all... he threw me out... she pushed me away... sunlight fades once more... the star sets for today.... and so begins my night... so starts my fight... again! thus here ends the day... and is set the price to pay! a quest for truth... a path to walk... beheld monuments of clay... ... long is this journey... tiring, my sentenced way... thorns and daggers... yet so my first step... a ladder into sadness... one flier at a time... and so does darkness... a dead judge... a jury... but no witnesses this time! © 2008 A.r.
