And We Danced And I Cried!A Poem by A.r. BazianAnd We Danced… And I Cried! why am i alone? i can hear my heart beat... silence all around! ... i cling on... to misery.. no one asked... if i want it... if i like it... pain inside is rising... for i am a fallen one... a figure in the darkness... a memory of the sun! ... i cling on... to misery... i turned out the lights... and wandered the dark! ... in my sleep... in my night... no one can hear me... no one can save me... blood dripping... it just wont keep... i washed away the blood on my hand... my father's sins... and poured them into the sea... turned out the lights... and let my soul free... i turned out the lights... i dreamt of the dawn and what could be... from within the darkness... only my past it comes to me... from the darkness of my past... i drain tomorrow... as death comes by every once in a while... and sings me to sorrow... ... And we danced… My shades and me… We danced… to misery… We danced… And I cried! … welcome... to my theatre of pain... where only heart beat is heard... and voices of the pounding rain! © 2008 A.r.
