What We Are!
i wonder
the creation of man
what makes us so unique
'tis what we are?
or is it who we are?
dearth is thy truth, oh man!
thou remain sorrowful
yet in anguish
vage in the depth of this broken mist
where lies the spirit
of the deadly gist
in a view of man's tale
and his sinful bliss
cry this wound
for it shall not last
to wander what state is man
await an answer
is all we can
thy chase thou dream
to leave a chum behind
looking thy soul
for a dwelling to find
as a hungry spirit
devoures the mind
oh, foolish eyes,
have thee gone blind?!
for this shall not ensue, once and gone
but twice
and again its done
wending the world
for thy dreams to come
and when thy're over
it only seems but some
to thy greedy eyes,
ecstacy
for thy soul it lies
unfinished, undone!
oh,
what devilish ambition
a fiend, this man's evil son
is what he left
but dances of death
and agony
what remains to hold!
the rest is destiny!
have thee faith
have thee,
still valor,
to show thy face?
i wonder what man
would tarnish this grace
what making, is thy soul?
something that reeeks with time
ancient but in place!
what against thy self
have done this crime!
will we find an answer
to this fallen darkness?
have you no lust?
to find thy truth?
through this trail of shadows
we cant go back
have not wondered...
why the night is black?
what is this eagerness...
to break a crack
to set the light
into this hollow sack
