Smile...

Smile...

A Poem by Alexis

Smile.
Nothing can compare to her smile.
Nothing can compare to the joy it brings me,
When the corners of her mouth just pop up.
Smile!

Her smile is Beautiful.
Her smile is Gorgeous.

Her smile makes the world go round.
When she blinks,
Hurricanes are casted in Hawaii.
When she laughs,
Earthquakes shake the city of San Fran.
And when she sings;
OOOOH when she sings,
My smile is bigger than ever.
When her fingers strum the strings of that beautiful guitar,
Time stops.
The world stops.
My heart stops.
The wind is knocked right out of me.
...
But then,
Reality hits me,
And I realize that those smiles aren't for me;
They are for The Evil;
The Backstabbing;
The Devil's Concubine;
The One I wish I could be.
I would love to stand in her shoes.

So instead of finding My opportunity to Love her,
I just Smile.
A fake Smile, of course.
Masking the pain I feel inside.
But I will smile,
So she doesn't have to deal with my drama;
My "Annoyance".
I mean, as long as she's happy ,
I should be happy too.
Right?
