Time will tell...

Time will tell...

A Poem by Andrea A. Wentz
"

The continuation from the poem, What would you do for a friend? I promised a friend I would continue the tale and here is part 2. :)

"

Your breath...

Warm in my hair

Your hand...

Resting upon mine

Your arm...

Unwilling to release

Your passion...

Exhausting our desires

Your heart...

To another it clutches

Your memories...

Dwell on past love

Your eyes...

Beginning to see reality

My love...

Laid bare before you

Your love...

Frightened to try again

My hope...

Patiently waits

My eyes...

See a chance remote

Time will tell...

Which way the heart turns

My hands...

Will let you go

My heart...

Will wait

This is an amazing piece. The realization that someone you love is emotionally stuck in the past even when they are here physically in present. The power of love keeping fueling your strength to wait it out and see if the one you love will leave the past and join you in the present with their heart, mind, body and soul.

Beautifully loving and hopeful ink!

This is a fairly short poem, that says so very much! Your love for him, his for another, but possibly that will finally be in the past, time will tell. You being willing to let go physically, if you must, but your heart remains, to see what time will tell. That road takes time to travel on, doesn't it? We each have our own and hopefully, they intersect with those we love! Great write!

Ooooo. I like the picture coupled with you poem! The words give a feeling of tumbling down a set of stairs that have a sad tone to them. But with the picture coupled with it. I trancends to bring the image of a persons soul falling from the heavens to earth waiting to return of the great lord.

Nice work!

This is truly moving...waiting for the One - while the other seems to dream of another...really well captured essence of so many relationships. Thank you.
