Weaving Fantasy of Cosmic Attraction

Weaving Fantasy of Cosmic Attraction

A Poem by Aaron Brammeier

We found each other

broken remnants of shadows

whose smiles hid the pains

of clicking clocks and biological

veins

our eyes flitted over and read

humanities cruel intentions

fucked up words

that wrote our hearts tragic

book

rattling our ribcage

and severing our cosmic starry veins

yet…

we found each other

our lips wept joy of raining comets

as they embraced

dancing fire-kissed madness

of heat and puncturing delight

as you sleep tonight

I hope you realize

that through my facade of ambivalence

I hope and wonder and think…of you

of your hourglass hovering over me

your brain slowly working out its puzzled

intuitions into mine

I no longer thought I could feel

yet…

you broke through and taught me

to no longer be ruled by my fear

your striking pose

my heart misses a beat

a quart of blood to my brain deceased

freezing me into languid hope

awakening deadened nerve endings

I thought no longer existed

for you my dear

is why I write

your inspiring locks of

brown knit hair and wondrous repose

whose cool grey eyes

blinked…

and like a rhinoceros

bashing its way through a stone

it cut me to the core

the demise of sadness and tears

your chest rises and…

falls

my safety wove a net

between your breasts and warm embrace

to drink of your sweet wine

and write my DNA of ink

twining it into

your skin tight soul
