Imploding Imagination

Imploding Imagination

A Poem by Aaron Brammeier

as the candle world burned at the wick
dripping hot wax on marrow and reality
conceptualized debauchery
of malicious intent
remember your life through
the first encounter
sipped and seething into
gum like digestion
lights flicker and rest
until my body finds its own limbs
could we taste each others pheromones
drink deep of our inner wine
until drunk with our bodies desires
sick and seething
we vomited the wasteful drug called love
down each others throats
until we collapsed and listened
while languages whispered our names
from beautiful tongues convulsing
tell me what am I supposed to believe?
cause the images tick their way
through my mind
like projectors talking
through memories of past and time
my hearts hunger pains
will feed the cockroaches passion
