Small Uni-Verse

Small Uni-Verse

A Poem by Aaron Brammeier

Gaze at stars through lines

traced upon the black canvas

feeling alone, without rest

finding nothing but vast emptiness

as words hover into still fog

of peculiar noxious desire

unimportant, like the grass

trodden underfoot

lay kisses of delight, as crumbs fall from gastric stomachs

cities crumblel like pillars of dust

we are unmade

numbers crammed into white pages of souls

figuring out the delusional images

of mirage governments

we are rogue atoms crashing into one another

causing explosions of pain and creation

drawn to something

we cannot understand

Kind-of an ironic piece really,

that is full or truths. Awesome!
