Black Noise.

Black Noise.

A Poem by Aaron Eliad

A sound is a set of wings

sizzling in the sky

from a revisionist locker yard.

A sound is a carousel on a wedding ring.

A sound goes up and slants gradually,

sustains theoretically,

stops inevitably.

A sound is a stitch

on the brink of the sun.

A sound is the pop of a stun gun.

A sound is a bindle with cooties

caught from catching strangers.

A sound is a haitian sculpture of soap

choking chlorine garden.

A sound is a skinny dog

clotting the sewer.

A sound is a rocking backward

or a rocking toward

hurdle over a home or bed

sound and sleeping.

A sound is an imagination of decorative dots.

A sound is a stream of towels on park place.

A sound is the same person,

same poison.

A sound is a pogo stick

paching morning papers.

A sound is the worst tuesday of your life.

A sound is a bright red nose and brick clothes.

A sound is a big red box

shaping the names of animals.

A sound is the whe-wheeze of a bubble wand harness.

A sound is a liquid alarm and a funnel.

A sound is a fish globe

over a bowl of sugar on the table.

A sound is a breathing pan

ketlle of lemonade.

A sound is a half finished coloring book

of your favorite super hero.

A sound is a sterilized cut.

A sound is a plaster perspective, a blunt object.

A sound is someone that you knew

when you were small.

A sound is an elephants cage

in the DC zoo.

A sound is a sport coat

coated with glue.

Okay, let me take all this in....lol. I've never read anything like this and I must say, I absolutely fell in love with it. Everything you describe as a sound is so intriguing. My favorite lines were:

"A sound is a pogo stick
paching morning papers.
A sound is the worst tuesday of your life.
A sound is a bright red nose and brick clothes.
A sound is a big red box
shaping the names of animals."

Quite honestly, I could just paste your whole poem here, because every line was unique and thought provoking. Some of these things I guess you can connect with a sound you heard while it happened. For instance, maybe on the worst tuesday of your life, you heard something you'd never forget. Dunno if that's what you meant, but that's what I got! I could ramble forever....but basically I loved it!

Awesome write :]
