That Wonderful Time of YearA Poem by Andrew AndersonThe craziness of Christmas. I just touch the tip of the iceberg here! It’s that time of year when shoppers rush the mall, Frantic and lost, some merely looking to brawl; To fight over that one toy, Forgetting this is the season of joy. Mall officials laugh because we’re under their thrall. Out of the mall we skip with shopping done. Oh, but the fun has just merely begun. Presents to wrap With the tightest of strap. Little ones won’t get to these presents, Hun. Family just now, beginning to arrive. There’s one, now two, now five? Our house packed full, What a handful! Hopefully this year we can all get along and jive. © 2016 Andrew AndersonAuthor's Note
