Kaboo

Kaboo

A Poem by Prana

A blatantly disobedient house turtle escapes confinement at sunrise.

"Kaboo!" calls a young girl in the distance.

It was the first time Kaboo had really spoke to the ocean in his old age. He studied movements and sounds, dipping his leathery face into the salt water. Memories of a place, that he was sure he had lost, rejoice at the forefront of his thoughts. Spirits lifted, Kaboo moves further into water, returning home.

"Ha-Ha,Hey! How did you get down here?"

Inquired the young girl, removing the turtle from its vibrant state. Like that, Kaboo was returned to his housing.
