Echo
A Poem by a_methyste
The softest immerse,
When you randomly howl!
And you get the echo
Of a revelation!
The alchemist never had a body!
It was but a tangent.
One on the circular travel.

And you get the echo
Of a revelation!
The alchemist never had a body!
It was but a tangent.
One on the circular travel.

This is a slightly cryptic one, for sure. I'm not sure why the example of an alchemist is included. In the distant past, alchemists were actually wise men; who dealt with what was then known about science. In particular, people mistook their achievements for magic; because their work produced results which merely seemed magical to such primitive societies. What you had in mind, was probably a magician or wizard perhaps? But, no matter.
A pretend magician in fictional stories, may not deal with the "body"; as you refer to it? Instead, he or she might have the power over minds; or use a unique mystical energy - which transcends the "body" of humanity's physical world. I guess, this might be roughly your thinking; behind referring how an alchemist might not need the "body"..?
Anyway, overall; this poem seems to be about the creative process. More specifically, what inspires us; and how suddenly that can manifest itself?
In a silent environment, there would certainly be the possibility of an "echo"; if one of us was howling lol. But, the physical environment is a determinant in that situation.
Our thoughts can sometimes seem to churn over in our minds, almost as if in an "echo chamber" of sorts. As, we mull them over, compare them; and then finally get around to writing them down....
