Flickers

Flickers

A Poem by a_methyste
"

I feel flickers, That come from the friction of your words. And your truth ..They make noise And i touch a ghost ..There are so much in this city! And now i feel wondering ..Who did i meet? Dejavu

"
I feel flickers,
That come from the friction of your words.
And your truth
..They make noise
And i touch a ghost
..There are so much in this city!
And now i feel wondering
..Who did i meet?
Dejavu
…This is not the first time
..I’ve seen it before

From this, it almost seems as if you tend to feel both excited and daunted; by what can be found or experienced in the city.?

Ghosts can represent memories of past experiences, and such memories can haunt like ghosts.

Incomplete or doubtful memories, can pass like "flickers"; and quickly be forgotten. Whilst other memories, can seem to last an eternity.

There can be visual or auditory triggers, which spark a feeling of dejavu for some people. Memories can also return; when sparked by certain triggers. But, are they false or distorted memories; when we experience dejavu?

Thanks for writing this. I admit that I have added some related thoughts and observations of my own, within this review; but grown to learn that you do appreciate my sharing them with you 💌. Best wishes.
