Always knocking on strange doors
Walls fluctuate when you are around

You do not know lifes ways
You are in for the ride

A child that laughs
What is fear anyway

Two wise loving eyes
In an adventurous child

Life is an unknown adventure to that child. He, she sees what is there, not knowing the bends and crossroads of life. They have no reason to mistrust or doubt because those words are unknown, just as 'yesterday; and 'tomorrow' means. Their eyes are bright and open, fingers at the ready to explore. Whereas, your words set the beacon bright to adult readers who have, perhaps, forgotten the words: innocence, meanings and mystery.

A very fine thoughtful process - your writing. Many thanks for sharing it.
