He offered me the world
I refused
I ran away with my poetry vagabond.

I would have done the same. Poetry is a way of life. Meeting someone else who shares that love of subject would make up for all the jewels and riches. They have never meant anything to me. Great choice.

Yes there is the high of poetry that for me is just not compared to anything else in this world. The world looks so small compared to that high. Just to hop in that train and walk, walk, walk on. Yes indeed so much adventures. An amazingly blessed world we were granted by God.

Some of us are very happy with very little... so when someone says I'll give you the world, it has little meaning...what does matter is the bond between us, the love, care, attention, etc.... that is so important...it's not all about material "stuff" it's about us.....Don't give me diamonds!

If somebody experimented with me and gave me the world, I would pray that my family did not hear the offer because they would give me a bad time. I would say Shhhhh, I do not want it. I still have work to do though, I see myself desiring a bit of luxury here and then. But not much, it tires me. Nice to talk to you dear.
