Monochrome

Monochrome

A Poem by A sea person
"

Colors and connotations.

"

My world is black and white

Black and White

No dripping blue

Clear and cool

Sky, sea and sad

Just black and white

Black and White

No burning red

Fierce and bred

Fire, clay and passion

Just black and white

Black and White

No glowing yellow

Bright and mellow

Sun, sand and fun

Just black and white

Black and White

All bleary gray

Dull and cliché

Cloud, rock and acrid

Just black and white

Mixed black and white

All black and white

Black and White

This makes me think you might have been wandering around inside my head. I feel this completely.

"All bleary gray
Dull and cliché
Cloud, rock and acrid"

That bit, especially speaks to me.

I like the 'red' stanza (fiery).. :)

Interesting ... I like your connotations!
