Flesh Eater

Flesh Eater

A Poem by A sea person
"

This is another autobiographical poem - still trying to figure out what bit me and why on earth my flesh is turning purple and necrotic...even the doc didn't know...

"

Two fang marks - what bit me?

I don’t know how they got there

but suddenly

they

were

there

Not so bad – but still, what bit me?

The first few days passed by

but even still

they

were

there

Now it spreads – what bit me?!

And I panic at the decaying skin

Must know why

they

were

there

My dying flesh – what bit me.

Now a question I will never answer

All because

they

were

there
