Pray.A Story by WhisperI don't believe in god, but the story was touching to me.
"Everything going to be alright.." She whisper to herself, she was only six years old when she hid behind that shelf. Daddy had a little too much to drink and momma didn't want her to feel the pain, but she still felt the pain. Momma was bit naïve and daddy was a blinded thief, he would've stole the remains of the family. She walks her way slowly to her room, and locked herself up behind the door to block away the angry voices that once soothe her to sleep. And she lies underneath the caving room, and she cries tonight. She gets on her knees and cries "If there's a God out there, please hear my prayer. I'm lost and I'm scared, and I've got nowhere else to go. I've come a long, long way, but I'm not sure I can make it much farther...So if you're listening, could you give a helping hand, To your daughter." Tears stream from her eyes, she cried. 10 years later her path change, she was 16, she sat on the bed, wondering what those girls just said. And tears stream from her eyes, and she cried. Then, she looked at the stars, and prayed on her knees "If there is God out there, please hear my prayer, I'm lost and I'm scared, and I've got nowhere else to go. I've come long, long way, but I'm not sure I can make it much farther.... So if you're listening, could you give helping hand to your daughter!" 20 years later, she decided one drink was alright, 9 months go by. She strokes her angel head, and as she sat there on that bed, tears stream from her eyes, and she cried. She carry the baby in her arms and cries on her knees, "If there is a God out there, please hear my prayer, I'm lost and I'm scared, and I've got nowhere else to go. I've come long, long way, but I'm not sure I can make it much farther.... So if you're listening, could you give helping hand to your daughter!" Then, that baby grew into a boy that became her pride and joy, and he love her like no man could. As she lay there in that bed 99 years old, she grab her son hand and said "There is a God up there, who heard my prayer. I was lost and afraid, and I had nowhere else to go. I had no clue, what to do, and then He sent me you. So if you're lost and afraid, and you feel so alone, don't worry child, cause there's a Father who will love you as His own Just like he loved his daughter." The son hug and kiss his mom, and he whispers "I Love You, Mom. Don't you dare ever forget that, this ain't just words. There more then words...." He cried "I Love You, mom..." She didn't need to say "I Love You," back because she knew a true love is said from the heart, and she whisper it from her heart. "I Love You Too..."
