how can you describe it without being stereotypical,

a style?

a type of music?

there's more to it than that,

it's not about cutting,

or depression,

it about:

strong emotion,

being truly unique,

and not afraid of being judged,

Emo is style,

Emo is music,

Emo is strong,

Emo is life,

but most of all:

done judge emos. b/c emo is a lot of things. all emos arnt alike. dont judge ur friends and think they are weird now, just because they "went" emo. find out how they act now. then judge them.

I think it is completely absurd to label individuals. This particular label boggles my mind. Life should be about passion, emotion, and vibrancy. This label is being applied to people who live life, feel and express themselves. In addition it puts the spotlight on a certain group who does these things. the judgment should stop, people need to wake up and take their pulses. If you don't live with passion and emotion, then you don't have a pulse.
