A choke.

Suddenly as if out of nowhere,

Life.

Strawberry blonde, words unavailable.

She walks.

Another

Just as frail

But only just.

Agony once

Agony twice

Peace.

Another,

An angel from the heavens

Shining down

Protecting us.

Agony once more

Struggle for survival.

One more, she says

She's right.

Poke and pry

Delight in her horror

Agony, a fourth and final time

He's gone.

The first kiss.

Something wicked approaches,

Once,

Twice,

A third time and she's done.

She quits on him, he begs for mercy.
