The CarnivalA Poem by Ramsha GhofranThe main idea of this topic is sacrifice. In life, we tend to make a lot of sacrifices to meet with our circumstances. Sometimes it's not pleasant and other times, it's for the best.I walked the lonely roads of a
carnival And the Colors twinkled their
merry tune, To the solemn phthalo sky. They sought the ombré of
colors, Sought to admire brunette horizon of us living. I walked the lonely roads of a
carnival, The roots that bore life, Now withered under Autumn’s
dust, The ferrace held the sky and
held up high, So high above the graves, so
far beneath the hanging pendulum. I walked the roads to a
carnival, The road where Colors’ had
gifted their voice to the sky. ~ Ramsha Ghofran © 2022 Ramsha GhofranAuthor's Note
