Milky Boy

Milky Boy

A Poem by _mal

curled into me, distracted-

each rain
drop
slips down mountains
taking pebbles,
leaves, cliff tops. Laying bare
the land and
Becoming
puddles. Pools, your eyes are
pools. Lakes. I
drink you in
run my hand across
smooth surface
of your face, watch
the ripples
burbles, giggles            as you absorb
my touch and Become a little
bigger, somehow

a wave of concentration,
a wrinkling between your (fathers)
eyes, as you catch a finger
in each hand and
gum one seriously

considering me
before ferociously relatching
and gazing up
serene,
