Crimson Embers

Crimson Embers

A Poem by mackenzi_drew

A homeless man
throws his ashes to the curb
I pass,
As crimson embers disperse
smoke wisps swirl
Into the darkness of the night
Slowly becoming extinguished
By the dampness
Of this chilly nights zephyr

First I have a question; what is a zephyr? Second; I really liked the lines As crimson embers disperse Smoke wisps swirl.
