The Barefoot Painter

The Barefoot Painter

A Poem by mackenzi_drew
"

I met a crazy bare foot artist

"
The barefoot painter
In the elevator, said
"I'll come with you to the 16th floor,
I need your opinion about a recent painting,
it is the perfect time since we re just waiting,
I've covered the canvas, layer after layer
I can't get my point across, I've lost artistic flair
This hue of blue, it disappoints me
So much, that I may stab and X through the entire thing"
after all I've spent 50 years painting
