La Luna

La Luna

A Poem by Milena

Her face ogling back at you

Her radiance showing creatures of the blackest night their path

Watching all in her beams of luster

Only a sphere ablaze from the morn sun glint

Comforting child from fear

Fear that curdles and bubbles in the minds at night

Setteling her beret on such a noble brow

That makes even the most illustrious queens blush in desirous

Concealed in darkness her features no longer flouresced

Below mother earth now slumbers

In vibrant greens, reds and golds

Blanketed in cloud cover she sleeps in harmony

For in the land of Nod is tranquility

Wating to be irrupted by incubus

Cascading down into the bowls of the deepest darkness

Lands far off from time and space

Unknown and untouched by man
