Don't Say That

Don't Say That

A Poem by Allie Rosa
"

Why don't we enjoy hearing the one thing we want to hear the most?

"
"You're Incredible."
Don't Say That.
"What? The truth?"
No.
See, the truth? The truth is a fact.
Something that can be proven. Something that is always consistent, defined.
What you said? That is much worse.
It's an opinion. Your opinion.
It means so much more than a simple fact.
Facts are easy. Common sense, Unquestionable.
But an opinion, a belief, is something that you choose.
You see, for you to believe such a thing, It means the world.
And the world is beautiful,
but it's change over time is inevitable.
So no,
Don't Say That.
