YE, OF LITTLE FATEA Poem by @_av_poetryWhen you lose hope, but fate has your back. It's okay to be saved sometimes.Ye, of little fate, He arrived too early, And you arrived too late. He arrived on the year ninety two, Ninety six was to be your number, Thats’s when you came into this world And awoke from your eternal slumber. Separated by sea and by land, But linked by unbreakable bond, You prayed at night for him, But he did not respond. Defeated you stumbled through life, While destiny’s thread was spun And when he showed up at your door He looked more dazzling than the sun. The wounds of falling never healed, But he happily took on the task And watched in awe as reluctantly You let slip your watchful mask. Ye, of little fate He arrived too early But had the sense to wait. © 2020 @_av_poetryAuthor's Note
