Lucifer

Lucifer means "bringing light", derived from Latin lux "light" and ferre "to bring".

In life, some people light candles,

Some people blow them out.

Some bring about the darkness,

Some you can’t see without.

Some spread the light like wildfire.

Some like ice the fire extinguish.

Some hold on like vultures to power,

Some with kindness all powers relinquish.

Don’t blow at my flame, candle-blower,

Your efforts won’t bring forth the night.

Stop trying to blow out my candles,

My darkness won’t bring you the light.

Wow.....I can relate to that. I really don't handle bullying well. I seem to invite it by being accommodating then when I get bullied I respond too strong. Its amazing I haven't 'gone postal '. Lol

There is a splendid irony in that definition... Lucifer "bringer of light" as if illumination was ever truly a thing of evil, could it be that the powers that be preferred our collective shadowed existences to that of truth and understanding? hmm makes a Bunny ponder!!! clever clever clever write
