Failing

This was a piece originally written in spanish but I did my best to translate it, at the bottom is the original piece :)

I don’t know what I am doing,
I keep telling my heart not to fail me.
My heart is not allowed to fall in love,
but you tell me everything i want to hear &
I instantly forget that I will never fall for another man.
Hand me a blind fold so i can cover my heart’s eyes,
I don’t want them to see you!
I keep trying but im afraid it’s too late,
my heart has failed me.
