Lifeless
A Poem by Parin
I am
lifeless
Such
as a dry falling leaf
Dead
from inside
Yet
restless and rustling
In
the wind
As to
go far away
To
separate itself from it's roots
And
never to come back from where it once left.

A meaningful poem of brevity. Creates a real feeling of isolation and exile. Sharp imagery. Nice work Parin.

Nice imagery. Strong emotion conveyed by the lines "To separate itself from it's roots
And never to come back from where it once left."

Wonderful imagery in those words. An economy of words I can appreciate. Nicely done.
