Secrets

Secrets

A Poem by Shreya

                                                    SECRETS
People say the more we tell, the better we feel. Sadness gets reduced after telling things to people.
It might as well be true, just not for me........

The real me is deeper
The real me is mature
The real me begs to come out
Im just not ready for the tour

The real me curses me
The real me is pure
The real me loves everything
Im just not that sure
The real me seeks wisdom
The real me cries alone
The real me is true
A diamond waiting to be shown
The real me reflects
The real me never surfaces
This is the real me- a secret to this world
TAAADDAAA..........:)

Goody Good.. I liked the expression and the thought behind it.. Just the line "The real me curses me" has one too many Me's in it.. remove one.. Rest flow is great ! :D

It's great. :}
I thought it was well structured, and just an overall beautiful poem.
You're a good writer...so don't stop.
